My Approach
My goal is to support every child to shine at being a kid and to help families understand and enjoy their child while feeling supported in their roles throughout the journey.
You and your child can be assured of a caring approach based on current research. I achieve this in a relaxed, play-based way by tuning in to what is meaningful to your child and family. With a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face, I am committed to offering personalized care that promotes well-being, independence, and meaningful participation in daily activities, all within the comfort of your child's natural environments. I am also passionate about ensuring that not only kids, but their "Co." as well (whether that be parents, educators, foster families, grandparents, etc.) are equipped with skills to continue developing abilities outside of therapy, to achieve long-lasting success.
About me
I completed my Occupational Therapy degree at James Cook University in 2015 and since then have worked exclusively with children and families in Townsville. I have adopted some special interests in sleep, sensory processing difficulties and celebrating the wonder of neurodiversity, having my own handful of neurodiverse family members! Working with kids truly brings me joy, especially when I get to witness and celebrate with families the little moments when things just "click"!

My own journey as a dedicated occupational therapist and proud parent of two beautiful girls has inspired me to create a flexible and compassionate service that caters to the unique needs of each family. I have crafted this practice to not only bring expert therapeutic support directly to you, but also to honor the delicate balance between professional passion and family life.
Support For Your Family
Occupational Therapy is a health profession that is all about how people occupy their time!
We are family-centred and help kids with various difficulties to do the things that they need, want, or like to do to occupy their time at home, school & in the community. Families with concerns about their child can access OT without a referral.
Kids & Co. OT can help kids with funding through NDIS (self-managed or plan managed), medicare or privately managed.
